From youth work to respite care, to Therapeutic Home Based Care

With a background in youth work, Abby formed a bond with one of the young people she cared for. Starting her journey as a respite foster carer, she worked with the Allambi Care team to achieve a full-time Therapeutic Home Based Care model with this young person.

Support included weekly check ins with the Allambi Care support team and a wrap-around approach with behaviour support, occupational health support, as well as a tax-free allowance to support the needs of the young person.
