Do Therapeutic Home Based Carers get paid?

Therapeutic Home Based Care or THBC is a unique and specialist form of foster care designed to support young people in out-of-home-care with high needs, who are between 12 and 17 years of age. THBC carers receive a generous tax-free allowance which generally means that a THBC carer does not need to work.
