What is Learning and Development at Allambi Care?

We strive to exceed best practice when it comes to serving the families and young people we care for. We have a nationally recognised (and Award Winning) training team that ensure our staff have the tools they need for the job at hand.

This includes Therapeutic Crisis Intervention training for all staff as a mandatory, as well as pathways to extended learning through the Diploma of Community Services and the Bachelor of Human Services.

What is the team like?

Our in-house Learning and Development team are made up of passionate people who have had (or still have) a career in the industry. They’ve been on the front-line and are equipped with practical knowledge to share. They are driven, but also have the empathy to guide the team through their learning journey.

A typical day in the Learning and Development team

The Learning & Development team support staff upon their initial employment journey with Allambi through to supervisory and leadership roles.

We offer induction training, probationary learning, CHC52015 Diploma of Community Services Qualification Program, tailored team and individually focused trainings, role specific training and supports, Allambi Care Bachelor of Human Services Degree Program and TACT Training and Consultancy Services.

The flow on effect of a competent and confident team is greater outcomes for you, the organisation and importantly the families and vulnerable individuals we provide care for.
