Foster Care Support

What is Foster Care Support?

The Allambi Care Foster Care Support Team do just that - support our wonderful Foster Carers in all aspects of caring for a young person. Providing a wrap around support network through caseworkers and management teams, the team help transition kids from residential placements and NDIS to loving homes. The Foster Care Support Team are also responsible for recruiting and onboarding new Foster Carers, and ensuring they have access to training and support as they progress through their foster care journey.

What is the team like?

The team are dynamic, adaptable and genuine people-people. At the core of what the team do everyday is relationship management, whether that be onboarding a new foster carer, to facilitating family time. The team are solutions focused and believe that there is nothing that can’t be resolved over a good cuppa.

Youth and Disability Support

Let’s be clear, it’s a challenging role. That’s why you’ll be supported and trained to meet the challenges. We start with a five day paid induction. Weekly support meetings and for the first six months support from the People, Support and Culture Team.

Clinical Support

As a key member of the Clinical Services team you’ll work together with other specialists in developing a 360 degree model of care, ensuring the best plan is developed for a young person in our care.

Foster Care Support

As part of a dedicated team you’ll be supporting our wonderful Foster Carers, by providing a wrap around support network and being part of the team helping transition kids to loving homes.

Learning and Development

Allambi Care take pride in providing in-house education pathways for our team, to ensure industry practice standards are being met and exceeded.

Maintenance

As a Maintenance team member your work will be varied, covering all aspects of property management. The role is vital in helping instil a sense of pride and care in the young people living in the homes and facilities you’ll maintain.

Outreach

As an Outreach Support team member you’ll be supporting families through their most challenging times, with the goal of keeping them together, through programs that develop relationships and provide a safe loving platform for children to thrive.

Education

For many young people, the traditional education system is unable to meet their needs. As a member of our Education team you’ll be providing adapted learning environments to meet young people where they are happy to learn.
