As Director of Organisational Development at Allambi Care, Mark provides strategic leadership across a diverse portfolio that spans Education, Learning and Development, Special Assistance Schooling, a Bachelor of Community Services program, and the Property Department. His role centres on driving organisational growth, operational excellence, and staff capability – with the goal of improving outcomes for children and young people in care. From frontline learning environments to behind-the-scenes infrastructure and systems, Mark’s work ensures that Allambi’s standards remain industry-leading.
Mark began his journey with Allambi in 2006 as a Youth Worker, bringing with him a background in education. His passion for inclusion led to the development of a Learning Centre for young people disengaged from the education system, and a career-long commitment to educational reform for children in out-of-home care. Over the years, his leadership expanded to include stakeholder engagement, facilities management, vocational pathways, and trauma-informed training delivery. In 2021, he led Allambi through the successful accreditation of North Academy – a Special Assistance School offering alternative education pathways for young people within Allambi and the broader community.
Known for his steady leadership and organisational skills, Mark is dedicated to creating systems that empower both staff and young people to reach their full potential. He continues to mentor emerging leaders, champion innovation, and drive strategic initiatives that foster long-term sustainability and care excellence.
Knowing that our combined efforts have a direct impact on young people’s lives – often at their most vulnerable – is what inspires me every day.
Outside of work, Mark finds balance and renewal by the ocean – whether it’s swimming or walking along the beach, it’s his way of recharging both body and mind.
