Lindsay Fish

As Director of Northern NSW Operations, Lindsay leads the strategic and day-to-day management of Allambi Care’s programs across the region, including Intensive Therapeutic Care (ITC) and Foster Care (FC). Based in Alstonville, Lindsay plays a key role in supporting staff, carers and children and young people in care, while also strengthening relationships with community partners and local stakeholders.

Lindsay began his career with Allambi Care in 2013 as a Youth Worker while completing his university studies. His leadership journey has taken him through a range of roles – including Residential Officer, Caseworker, Case Manager and Program Manager – before stepping into the Director role in November 2022. One of his most significant career milestones was relocating his young family to Northern NSW to oversee the transition of a local care program into the Allambi model – a move he describes as both the hardest and most rewarding decision of his professional life.

Calm, grounded and deeply committed to the wellbeing of others, Lindsay is known for his level-headed leadership style and his ability to remain steady in high-pressure situations. His dedication is fuelled by the progress he sees in others – whether it’s a child in care, a carer finding their confidence, or a team member stepping into their potential.

To reflect and know that you may have played a tiny role in someone fulfilling their potential and achieving their goals – that’s what fuels me to keep showing up.
