As Director of Family and Early Interventions at Allambi Care, Kelly-Lee Goodchild oversees a broad range of programs designed to support families and individuals, including Family Search and Engagement, Semi-Independent Living, Specialist Homelessness Services, the Homeless Youth Assistance Program, Family Preservation (Hunter and Central Coast), the Cultural Team, and Social Work. Her focus is on strengthening family connections, fostering stable and supportive living environments, and ensuring culturally responsive care across all services.
Kelly-Lee began her journey with Allambi in 2007 as a Foster Care Recruitment Officer - a role that sparked her passion for working with families and understanding their unique experiences. Since then, she has contributed across Residential Care and Foster Care Training and Recruitment, with each role reinforcing her belief that every individual deserves connection and belonging. Her career has been driven by a commitment to continuous improvement and innovation, adapting services to meet the evolving needs of the communities Allambi Care supports.
Known for her strong organisational skills and positive, solutions-focused mindset, Kelly-Lee believes that open communication and collaboration are the keys to overcoming challenges. One of her most impactful experiences involved supporting a family through their journey to reunification - an experience that continues to fuel her passion for this work.
